Tropical Storm Warnings - All functions nominal

We already had excitement with our weather radio blasting us out of our solemn morning rituals of checking for new orders. The National Weather Service was issuing a flash flood warning on the All Hazards Radio that we leave on at all hours here in Central Texas. There is a short alarm tone that roused us from our duties.

We saw that Tropical Storm Hermine is headed in our general direction, the growing clouds moving northward giving us pause in our book-buying journeys. We will probably remain indoors for the most part tomorrow and review our inventory. We have already shipped most of today's orders, just one  more that came in this evening, and we will "endeavor to persevere", since we heard that quote yesterday in a Clint Eastwood movie. We will brave the elements tomorrow to ensure that it gets mailed.

We will refrain from advertising tonight and focus on reviewing storm preparation procedures and posting new book listings on line.
