Ash Wednesday - The Party is Over
We forgot about this coffee-table sized book we have for sale about the world-wide celebration of Mardi Gras when we were writing yesterday, which is also known as Carnival, a colorful and fun-filled festival in both South America and Europe, so even though the bright colors of the cover are probably not in keeping with the more subdued tones of the Ash Wednesday and the Lenten Season, one can look forward to next year's upcoming celebration by knowing more about the history, myth and traditions of this ancient practice.
